The sunlight descended along the fence,
Reminding me of what it had been to live here
And by extension there, where light was never
Less than grand, embellishing, extreme.
And where it went into waves my memory was flat,
Untroubled, no imperfect acts to wonder through.
What it was to be with you, arguing,
Alive. Under that eternal summer sun.
Recapture me.
